Bright House Networks hires Hord

Bright House Networks, the nation’s sixth-largest cable operator, announced today that it has hired Kevin Hord as its new vice president of corporate procurement and materials management.

In his new role, Hord will report to Bright House Networks executive vice president and CFO Bill Futera.

“Kevin has a strong business and financial background,” said Futera. “We look forward to having him on our team to effectively lead the plan of coordinating our purchasing and inventory functions.”

Prior to Bright House, Hord was with Liberty Global, where he was responsible for initiatives to improve efficiencies and economics in the purchasing and supply chain management areas.

Hord brings 20 years of experience to Bright House Networks, including 15 years with Anderson Consulting serving clients in a variety of industries in the areas of strategic sourcing and inventory management.
