Charter’s Telephone service includes unlimited local and long distance calling, caller identification, voicemail, three-way calling, call forwarding, custom ring, speed dial and other popular calling features. Customers who have Charter Digital and High-Speed Internet can add Charter telephone for $34.99 per month.
* Amdocs to standardize Rogers’ customer careRogers Communications will implement Amdocs CRM customer service system across its cable, wireless and telecom businesses in order to provide a consistent customer experience to all of its 10 million subscribers. This implementation extends a long-standing relationship between the two; Rogers is currently using Amdocs billing software to support its various lines of business.
* MobiTV now supports Windows Mobile on latest handheldsMobiTV service is now available for all phones and devices running Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. Available on devices including the Sprint 6700, Cingular 2125, Motorola Q and Palm’s Treo 700w, consumers of MobiTV on Windows Mobile powered devices can access a broad range of channels from content providers such as MSNBC, ABC News Now, CNN, Fox News, Fox Sports, and ESPN, among others. 
* Ikanos chips to power Calix FTTNCalix will buy its VDSL2 chipsets from Ikanos Communications to power its E-series IP Service Edge Nodes (SEN), used in fiber-to-the-node (FTTN) and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) applications. Ikanos’ chipsets are designed to offer interoperability with deployed VDSL2, VDSL1, ADSL2+ and ADSL CPE on a per port basis, with auto-detect capability.
