Former Starz executive Jodi Robinson was hired by Charter Communications as its senior vice president, user experience design and development.
Robinson will oversee the user experience design and development for all of Charter’s products and will to report to Rich DiGeronimo, senior vice president, product and strategy.
“Jodi brings a unique combination of technical and video content experience with an exceptional track record of launching successful consumer video products,” DiGeronimo, said. “Jodi’s contributions to Charter will further elevate an already high performing design and development team as we continue to reshape the customer experience.”
Robinson joined Charter after nearly nine years with Starz Entertainment, where she most recently led the digital platforms organization as vice president, Internet and interactive technology. In that role, Robinson was responsible for all online, digital and consumer-facing technologies and video offerings. Her team oversaw all aspects of Starz’s TV Everywhere platform including recent launches of Starz Play on mobile and connected TV devices.
Robinson previously held various software development and architecture jobs at Level 3 Communications and Sun Microsystems.
