Charter Business will be offering its business customers in the Dallas/Forth Worth area more interconnection choices, thanks to a deal to use Cologix’s Dallas-based data center.
“Charter Business is strategically focused on the carrier market, enabling high-capacity, fully redundant interconnect capabilities,” said Jim McGann, senior vice president of Charter Business. “Cologix will enable Charter to provide new connectivity options and cost-effective solutions to our customers in the Dallas-area market.”
Cologix, a network-neutral interconnection and colocation company, bought the 28,000-square-foot facility, Cologix Dallas, last year. Cologix Dallas is located in the Dallas Infomart carrier hotel.
Cologix provides interconnection and colocation services from its data center in the Infomart and operates a “Meet-Me-Room” within the facility.
