Comcast Business has expanded its Upware roster to include marketing and CRM vendor Swiftpage.
Upware is divided into various “aisles” among cloud-based vendors that Comcast Business has picked to serve the small and medium-sized business sector, and Swiftpage was the first addition to the marketing and CRM aisle. Swiftpage’s “Engage,” which is the company’s software-as-a-service based e-mail and social marketing platform, is now available on Upware.
“This is another terrific step forward for our OEM partner strategy, giving us access to a nationwide footprint of new potential users and enabling Comcast Business to further provide access to offerings for small businesses,” said H. John Oechsle, president and CEO of Swiftpage. “We see this as the beginning of a terrific ongoing relationship.”
Comcast Business’ Upware, which made its debut near the first of the year, is a virtual marketplace that was designed to serve the needs of small and medium-sized (SMBs) businesses. In October, web conferencing vendor AnyMeeting joined the fold.
”Surveys have shown that small businesses expect to grow in 2014, and we believe that cloud-based marketing and CRM solutions like Swiftpage, that are impactful and easy to use, will play a significant role,” said Kevin O’Toole, senior vice president and general manager, new business solutions, Comcast Business.
