The Comcast Foundation has stepped up to donate $1 million to The Cable Center to seed a larger “Chairman’s Campaign,” whose goal is to raise a total of $10 million over the next two years.
The funds from the campaign will be funneled to an operational endowment to allow the Center to strengthen and broaden its programs and activities.
To recognize the Foundation’s gift, the Center is dedicating the video tower in its Great Hall “The Comcast Video Tower.”
Bill Bresnan, The Cable Center’s chairman and Bresnan Communications’ CEO & Chairman, is leading the campaign. He has made a $500,000 “challenge gift” to the campaign, whereby Bresnan will match any donation over $50,000, or up to a maximum of $500,000. Those who donate $50,000 or more to the campaign will be recognized as members of the Chairman’s Circle.
