Jim Zagami was recently named director of sales for Cox Media Virginia. He will report out of Cox’s Hampton Roads office.
“Jim’s leadership experience in several facets of marketing will provide our customers with innovative solutions to build and maintain brand awareness and ultimately grow their businesses,” said Dianne Earley, who was recently promoted to vice president of Cox Media Virginia.
Zagami has more than15 years of media sales and sales management experience in radio and cable television and more than 25 years of total sales experience. He joined Cox Media in 2006 as local sales manager for northern Virginia, which includes Fairfax and Fredericksburg, and later was promoted to general sales manager for northern Virginia.
Prior to joining Cox Media, Zagami was the director of sales for Clear Channel radio in Washington, D.C.
Cox Communications serves approximately 615,000 customers in Virginia and has more than 3,000 employees located there.
