Vortran Laser Technology announced the Stradus family of laser diode modules that delivers digital modulation at 200 MHz. the product line is available in popular wavelengths used for biomedical, R&D and laboratory applications. Wavelengths include 660 nm at 100 mw, 642 nm at 110 mW, 448 nm at 50 mW, 445 nm at 40 mW, 405 nm at 100 mW and 375 nm at 16 mW. Features include m2: 1.25 (typical) and >90 percent circularity. All wavelength models offer low RMS noise (<1 percent from 10 Hz to 10 MHz – except 0.2 percent for 488 nm) Beam dimensions are 1.3 mm diameter for all wavelengths, and the pointing stability is <5 urad/degC. The Stradus family also offers power stability of <0.5 percent for 24 hours. All Stradus diode laser modules are compatible with both USB and RS-232 interfaces and offer desirable alignment and pointing stability.
