IT Europa announced that it will be staging the fifth annual European ISV Convention on 1 March 2012 in Berlin. The event will bring together leading Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) with hardware, software and service organisations to explore and address the issues affecting the development of the IT Industry in Europe and to develop and strengthen partnerships aimed at supporting solution-based sales.
The European ISV Convention 2012 has been designed to build upon the success of the first four conventions, which were staged in Brussels, Frankfurt and London and is expected to again attract leading ISVs from all over Europe. The convention will feature a high-level conference programme with leading industry speakers on topics that include the challenges and opportunities facing ISVs in Europe, such as cloud computing and the future of application development and delivery, highlighting strategies for growth, collaboration and cooperation.
“With the growing acceptance of cloud computing and the increasing need to provide mobile access to business information, application development to support new business models is becoming ever more important in driving growth in both the IT and Telecoms sectors,” says Alan Norman, Managing Director of IT Europa. “The European ISV Convention 2012 provides a unique opportunity for Europe’s ISV community to come together to address the issues affecting the development of the software applications market. It also provides a framework within which major hardware and software vendors as well as service providers and system integrators can meet and engage with the directors and decision makers of Europe’s most significant ISVs and Solution Providers to create business opportunities.”
The European ISV Convention 2012 will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Berlin, Germany on 1 March 2012. ISVs wishing to attend the convention and vendors or service providers interested in sponsorship opportunities can find further information at www.isvconvention.com.
