Wave Broadband has signed a long-term deal to use Great Lakes Data Systems’ (GLDS) billing and provisioning platform.
Wave Broadband’s parent company, WaveDivision Holdings, is an MSO based in Kirkland, Wash., that serves more than 300,000 customers in the Seattle, Portland, Sacramento and San Francisco DMAs. Wave Broadband has been provisioning its customers using Great Lakes Data Systems’ WinCable subscriber management and billing platform since 2003.
“We’ve been quite satisfied with the GLDS relationship,” said Wave Broadband chief operating officer Steve Friedman. “We’ve experienced significant company growth, and GLDS has been a strong and cost-effective partner for us along the way. They’ve remained responsive to our needs and continue to provide support for our operational strategy.”
The financial terms of the agreement weren’t available.
Great Lakes Data Systems said it provided a combination of solutions to automate billing and service delivery for Wave Broadband’s triple-play services. Wave will continue to use WinCable for enterprise billing, as well as service provisioning, customer self-care, and other billing and payment processing solutions.
With the new agreement, Wave Broadband has added GLDS’ workforce management solution, which is called WinForce, to help its field technicians.
“We’re thrilled with Wave Broadband’s vote of confidence,” said GLDS President Garrick Russell. “We value long-term relationships with our customers and look forward to many more years with Wave Broadband.”
