Can machines beat humanity at its own game? As artificial intelligence (AI) technology grows smarter each day, the line separating humans and machines is becoming thinner. Experts argue that machine learning will be highly advanced that it’s going to be capable of proactively preventing human errors while improving security and processes many folds.
“I believe there is no deep difference between what can be achieved by a biological brand and what can be achieved by a computer. It, therefore, follows that computers can, in theory, emulate human intelligence – and exceed it,” said English theoretical physicist Steven Hawking.
Whilst it seems like a great thing, he explains that there are also dangers in this “new form of life that will outperform humans.” One of the most common arguments against AI is the danger of them eventually replacing us. Hawkins stressed that we need to look at making this technology not only innovative and advanced but more beneficial for us. But, what are the real risk of AI to humans?
This infographic entitled ‘Rise of the Machines’ answers pertinent questions we have for this technology: How AI is changing our lifestyle? What are the real risks of making AI more advanced? What does the future hold for AI and machine learning?
