The announcement was made at the Muncipal Council in Coimbra during the formal purchasing ceremony of the 3.3 land hectares inserted in Coimbra iParque, where the new building will be built.
The ceremony was attended by Innovnano’s CEO, Andre de Albuquerque, the chairman of the board from Coimbra iParque, Norberto Pires, and the Mayor of Coimbra, Carlos Encarnacao.
The new plant represents an important step towards the consolidation of the company’s position as a global producer of nanomaterials, leader in the market where it operates. The new plant will use Innovano’s patented technology and represents an investment of 10M€ divided in several stages.
Innovano’s presence and integration in a modern technology park such as Coimbra iParque will not only strengthen but also enhance further cooperation with relevant scientific communities in the neighbourhood.
