If Netflix has a weakness, it’s a lack of access to premium content. It may be addressing that issue in dramatic fashion. Netflix is reported to be negotiating to become the distributor for some potentially high-quality original programming.
Netflix is said to be discussions with representatives for movie star Kevin Spacey and director David Fincher for the exclusive rights for a two-season, 26-episode remake of British political drama “House of Cards”, according to Deadline.com.
In those negotiations, Netflix is bidding against the likes of HBO, Showtime and AMC.
