Nuera Communications Inc. and Wave7 Optics have teamed up on a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployment in Missouri.
Chariton Valley Telecom Corporation & Telephone Corp. is delivering voice, video and data services via a FTTH network populated by Nuera’s RDT-8g broadband access gateway and Wave7’s Last Mile Link (LML) fiber optic access platform. The Wave7 optical platform is offering symmetrical speeds up to 500 Mbps, while Nuera’s gateway provides voice-processing capabilities for primary and secondary-line voice services.
Chariton, which operates as a CLEC and an ILEC, services more than 8,000 local access lines within 18 exchanges in rural north central Missouri.
