PerfTech has begun shipping new hardware with its Bulletin System product line that serves to increase capacity, flexibility in attaching to carrier-grade environments, and performance.
A single Bulletin System device can now support 400,000 simultaneous users, bettering its previous capacity of 150,000 users, which allows providers to scale up to millions of users quickly and using significantly less rack space.
PerfTech’s Bulletin System devices can be deployed out of the path of traffic, ensuring failsafe operation, and attach to existing routers directly, avoiding the need for external switches or additional hardware. With six gigabit interfaces, each Bulletin System device can support multiple routers–even asymmetric paths. When connected to an aggregation router, these devices can support up to 40 Gbps of total Internet traffic each, PerfTech said.
Increased processing power supports 100 percent user loads, while tracking millions of message deliveries on an individual basis through the company’s applications, all with zero latency.
