METCASE, the metal enclosures division of
OKW, has introduced the ‘METTEC’ 19” rack cases. These versatile enclosures
feature an attractive front bezel which incorporates unique ‘comfort handles’
for easy handling.
Typical applications will include industrial
computers, laboratory instruments, industrial control systems, and more.
This exclusive and robust range of aluminum
19” rack cases conforms to DIN 41594 and IEC standards and is available in
three standard heights: 1U, 2U and 3U, and depths of 6.574”, 10.511” and
14.448”.The front bezel is painted in light gray
and the case body is pre-treated with an anticorrosive finish. Internal guide
rails are included in the side extrusions for mounting PCB assemblies and
chassis plates.
Uniquely, the anodized aluminum front panel
can be removed while the case is still in the rack. The front panel kit
includes two ABS cover trims, which hide the fixing screws. The front panel is
also recessed for location of a membrane keypad. Other accessories include
chassis plates and a rack mounting kit.
METCASE offers a full customizing service
on these enclosures with bespoke sizes, CNC punching, milling and drilling,
silk-screen printing and much more, providing fully finished enclosures ready
for fitting the electronic components.
