SeaChange International will be demonstrating its Intelligent Video Platform at this week’s CableLabs Winter Conference in Denver.
The platform, which is part of SeaChange’s Axiom On Demand software offering, will demonstrate how cable operators can create seamless subscriber experiences across televisions, broadband-connected PCs and smartphones, including Apple’s iPhone.
SeaChange’s Winter Conference lineup also includes VividLogic, the recent SeaChange acquisition whose in-home products include tru2way and Multimedia Home Platform (MHP) software products for television operators and manufacturers of set-top boxes and consumer electronics.
CableLabs’ Winter Conference, which includes its Innovation Showcase, is Feb. 8-10 in Denver.
SeaChange also announced that Georges Dabaghi was hired to the new position of general manager to oversee the company’s Middle East regional sales and market development for its content management subsidiary, On Demand Group.
Dabaghi will establish a Middle East base office in Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates.
Dabaghi, joining On Demand Group directly from a four-year post as Middle East and Africa sales director with Motorola’s IPTV-focused unit, will also support opportunities for regional deployment of SeaChange IPTV middleware and video servers, three-screen video solutions and on-demand software products of eventIS, which SeaChange bought last year.
