Sprint today announced it will be rolling out LTE soon in 28 more cities, including many spots along the Gulf Coast. The entire list is available online.
Since Sprint introduced its LTE network in July, it has made the service available in 49 cities, with another 200 markets in the works.
Sprint has said it hopes to cover its entire 3G footprint by the end of 2013.
Sprint has announced nearly 200 markets where Sprint LTE is on its way, including Boston; Charlotte, N.C.; Indianapolis; Los Angeles; Memphis, Tenn.; Miami; Nashville, Tenn.; New Orleans; New York; Philadelphia; and Washington, D.C.
Today’s new markets are part of Sprint’s Network Vision initiative, a plan to consolidate multiple network technologies into one new, seamless network with the goal of increasing efficiency and enhancing network coverage, call quality and data speeds.
