The Nintendo Switch has charmed many people in the video game world with its reconfigurable, portable shape and library of impressive games. It turns out, Nintendo’s next step after re-architecting its handheld console is to add … architecture. The Nintendo Labo, similar to the Google Cardboard VR viewer, places a foldable shell around the console. It’s a neat way to teach kids to build models and robots that will then interact with their games, and may add value for schools that want to foster STEM education. Labo kits start at $69.99 and become available on April 20.
