Since 1995, TTI has recognized the industry’s achievements in distribution with the Supplier Excellence Awards, and 2014 saw a number of repeat honorees, including a 14-time winner and a company which took home a trophy every year since the program’s inception in ’95.

Melanie Pizzey, Vice President of Global Business Operations for TTI, announced a slate of winners, each graded on TTI’s proprietary system. These included Molex with 103.93 points and Nichicon with 107.13 points.
At the “Silver Level”, we had FCI (106.85 points), Murata (109.69 points), and TDK (110.2 points), while the “Platinum Level” included 108.73 points for Phoenix Contact, 111.76 for Littelfuse, 111.82 for Kemet (who earned an award every year since 1995), and a whopping 122.70 points for KOA.

And in the end, Melanie presented the prestigious Global Operations Excellence Award — the “Best Picture” of the Supplier Excellence Awards — to Vishay, a worldwide manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components, among other product lines.
