This Solar Motor Operates Without Electricity
These solar motors were constructed by Bruce Yeany, a physical science teacher in the Annville-Cleona School District of Pennsylvania. Sunlight hits the strips, which are made from polyethylene trash bags, and is converted into thermal energy. This causes the rotor to turn without any electrical or mechanical parts.
