Palo Alto picks Motorola, Quantum Bridge for fiber net
The City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU) said it will deploy a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network based on equipment from Motorola Broadband and Quantum Bridge Communications. If successful, the new network will replace the municipality’s legacy infrastructure and provide voice, video and data services to about 26,000 area residents.
