TDK Corporation announces the introduction of 300W models to the TDK-Lambda PH-A280 series of DC-DC power modules with high voltage DC input. Operating from a wide range DC input of 200 to 425VDC, which is widely used in HVDC (High Voltage DC Current) applications, the PH-A280 range now includes 50, 75, 100, 150 and 300W outputs.
The new PH300A280 power modules are available in four output voltages; 12V, 24V, 28V and 48V. These outputs are adjustable over a very wide range of -60% to +20% to suit non-standard voltages. Efficiencies of up to 92% are achieved, an improvement of 5% over the prior PH series.
All modules operate at full load over a baseplate temperature range of -40 to +100°C making them suitable for liquid, air cooled or conduction cooled systems. The dimensions follow the industry standard half brick format (61.0 x 12.7 x 57.9mm).
As standard, the PH-A280 units are equipped with remote sense, remote on/off, overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuitry and include a 5-year warranty. All models have an input-to-output isolation of 3kVAC, are safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN 60950-1 and carry the CE mark in accordance with the LV Directive.
Applications include industrial, smart city, test and measurement and power generation-related equipment.
